$25/hr - $30/hrTetra Tech, through its subsidiary Glumac, is seeking a Commissioning Student Intern to join their team in Seattle, WA or Portland, OR for Summer 2026. This internship offers hands-on experience in the building engineering consulting profession, focusing on the commissioning process to ensure systems and components are installed and operate as intended.

Responsibilities
Participate in internal planning meetings and external project meetings with clients and project partners
Witness equipment installation and startup
Verify the proper performance of systems prior to turnover, document and help troubleshoot discrepancies
Interact with personnel from different disciplines within Glumac and project team members from other companies, including architects, owners, outside engineering firms, and contractors
Work alongside experienced commissioning providers
Assist with data analysis to assess building systems performance and identify potential areas for improvement
Attend meetings with current and potential clients for business development opportunities
Qualification
Required
Be pursuing an engineering or other science-focused degree
Have a curious, growth-based mindset and a willingness to ask questions
Have a willingness to learn and a desire to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment
Have knowledge of sustainable building design and clean energy systems
Have experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint, and a willingness to learn new commissioning-specific software
Preferred
Prior experience on construction sites is preferred
