The Quality Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying, aligning, and standardizing best practices across Rapiscan Systems global manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities
Supervise and train the Incoming and Final Product Inspectors to meet functional deliverables and responsibilities
Manage and train the Quality Engineers with regard to MRB, CAPA, audit, and metric collection processes
Ensure Document and Record Control
Ensure Control of Non-Conforming Material
Manage WIP MRB including reduction of MRB and non-conforming material inventory
Facilitate problem solving, root cause analysis, and other continuous improvement initiatives on product quality issues
Lead the creation, collection, and presentation of Quality data
Lead internal and external audits
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or another relevant area required
8+ years of progressive experience in Quality and/ or Operations functions in complex manufacturing industries with significant regulatory exposure
Experience with complex mechanical-electrical assemblies
In-depth knowledge of ISO9001
Proven experience in leading and driving continuous improvement initiatives, using quality tools and techniques such as Six Sigma, 8D, root cause analysis, etc
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
3+ years of professional experience in a managerial role preferred
Experience with Security Detection equipment desirable
Knowledge of ISO14001 is desirable
ISO9001 auditor experience, with Lead Auditor experience preferred
AS9145 APQP/PAPP, Six Sigma or Lean certification is desirable
