Design Project Engineer (Technical Lead)

Utilities

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of discipline engineers
Perform and review calculations in support of design, development, and licensing activities
Provide technical guidance on analysis methods, assumptions, modeling approaches, and acceptance criteria
Support licensing reviews and ensure compliance with applicable specifications, regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., 10 CFR Part 71 and Part 72)
Interface with Project Managers to support scope, schedule, resources, and risk management
Communicate technical status, risks, and recommendations to company leadership
Review and approve technical reports, calculations, and licensing documentation
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and optimized designs
Support responses to customers and participate in technical meetings as required
