Client Services Program Manager - Graduate

Canine Companions is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities. The Client Services Program Manager – Graduate will support and provide services to graduates in the region, coordinating program activities, managing applications, and ensuring effective training and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

Coordinate Graduate Program activities with Regional Executive Directors, Regional Program Directors, National Philanthropy staff, Instructors and Apprentice Instructors to ensure overall program cohesiveness
Provide/direct information and application materials to people interested in applying for a Canine Companion. Process application materials according to ADI guidelines. Coordinate planning for graduate visits, manage regional waiting list and keep within appropriate ranges. Conduct effective graduate follow-up visits, and applicant interviews
Responsible for organizing Team Training class preparation and implementation. Must understand organization policies and procedures in order to: Invite students to class based on fair and appropriate methods. Provide all necessary materials for incoming students for Team Training. Work with campus staff to make all necessary arrangements for Team Training class. Ensure all necessary equipment is available for students in Team Training
Keeping detailed records. Working with Dog Tracker/Client Tracker (DTCT). Giving presentations in public forums. Serve and act as role model and mentor to apprentice instructors in the Admissions process

Required

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively while maintaining organization
Ability to coordinate, network and motivate staff, volunteers and clientele
Proficiency with organization software tools, including DTCT
Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain detailed records and meet deadlines
Familiarity with dog training and animal health

Preferred

Canine Companions Instructor or Apprentice III equivalent
Post-secondary degree preferred, preferably in field directly related to this role, or equivalent experience
