Responsibilities
Support over the road durability testing at the proving grounds
Support road load data collection
Prepare test reports and presentations
Manage multiple testing and data collection projects
Support CAE correlation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, materials engineering, or a related field
Experience with vehicle instrumentation, data collection and processing
Understanding of accelerated fatigue testing
Proven track record of problem-solving and independent root cause analysis
Exceptional communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and manage competing priorities
Passion for Rivian's mission and a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace
Reporting half the week to the proving grounds and the other half to the Plymouth office
Regular local travel up to testing suppliers and the proving grounds
Preferred
Experience with performing analysis with nCode or similar programs to perform loads calculations for body, chassis, and suspension systems and components
Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or other programming languages
