Responsibilities
Develop a strong understanding of Starline high‑amperage busduct products and their applications
Design system layouts using AutoCAD based on customer needs, site surveys, and project documentation
Create and maintain technical documents such as installation instructions, FAQs, and product briefs
Work closely with sales teams and customers to provide technical guidance, problem‑solving, and project support
Draft technical proposals and confirm specifications including power, temperature, materials, and installation considerations
Participate in customer meetings to clearly communicate project updates and engineering recommendations
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by collaborating with senior engineers and cross‑functional teams
Support training efforts for customers, sales partners, and installation teams
Conduct occasional onsite measurements or troubleshooting
Assist project management activities throughout the sales cycle
Support the Service Group during installation-related activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience
3+ years of experience in electrical or mechanical engineering roles
Experience with power distribution equipment or electrical product design
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort producing technical documentation
Preferred
Familiarity with busbar/busduct systems
Experience with AutoCAD (mechanical or electrical)
Knowledge of IEC standards
