They are looking for an experienced Shop Technician to build and support prototype vehicles and mechanical systems in a complex work environment.

Responsibilities

Build, modify, and support prototype and pre-production ground vehicles and mechanical systems

Perform mechanical installation, adjustment, and repair of vehicle systems such as powertrain, hydraulics, suspension, and related components

Support engineering and test teams during development, validation, and functional testing activities

Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform corrective actions to restore system functionality

Disassemble and reassemble mechanical assemblies for inspection, repair, or modification

Use technical documentation, schematics, and work instructions to perform assigned tasks

Operate shop and material handling equipment required for assembly and maintenance activities

Assist with preparation of vehicles for testing, demonstrations, or transport

Maintain accurate work records and communicate technical findings to team leads

Perform general shop support duties, including material handling and housekeeping

Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements in a defense manufacturing environment
