Support the future growth of the WAS business
Contribute to WAS Tech's consistent, predictable, high-quality delivery by learning and applying engineering best practices
Supporting automation frameworks
Developing your skills in software development and testing methodologies
Work on feature development from design through deployment
Collaborating with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that drive business value in our dynamic, fast-paced environment
Supporting key stakeholders across the WAS organization which is focused on high-net worth and ultra-high net worth retail investors
Qualification
Required
BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
3+ years of professional software development experience
1+ years of Angular (versions 12+)
Knowladge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3/SCSS
Understanding of state management (NgRx preferred)
Responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Knowledge of Java development
Git version control and CI/CD pipelines
Code review and quality assurance practices
Cloud platform deployment (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments
AI tools like Copilot and understanding of AI prompts
Preferred
Master's degree in computer science or related field
Financial Services or Wealth Management industry experience
Comprehensive testing experience (unit, integration, e2e)
Test-driven development (TDD) practices
Experience with RxJS and reactive programming patterns
Spring Boot microservices development experience
SQL database experience (PostgreSQL, MSSQL, or Oracle)
Performance monitoring and application troubleshooting
Feature flag management and A/B testing frameworks
Security best practices and implementation
