Information and Intelligence Associate Manager

Responsibilities
Routinely inspires I&I staff to self-actualize their value in the WDS mission
Innovates new and efficient methods to enhance workflow and improve products
Promotes and facilitates a collaborative and positive work environment for the team
Communicates effectively and supports WDS overall business strategies
Collaborates with leadership of other departments in support of business growth and reporting
Continually improve employee engagement
Routinely thinks creatively to raise the standard of practice in the department, from daily operational tasks to long-term strategic planning
Exhibits adherence to company policies and procedures and ensures staff is adherent by proactively addressing any behavior or performance issues in accordance with disciplinary guidelines
Manage hiring, training, and development of seasonal and full-time employees
Manages I&I scheduling, vacations, and time entries
Proactively engages in the development and growth of staff, including performance evaluations and professional development
Develops and implements training programs for all personnel within I&I and surge staff
Fosters a cooperative and harmonious working environment conducive to maximizing employee retention, morale, and productivity
Ensures consistent and accurate intelligence meets the requirements of internal and external customers
Manages quality assurance of section deliverables
Routinely thinks creatively to raise the standard of practice in the department, from daily operational tasks to long-term strategic planning
Creatively works with stakeholders to create operational efficiencies in the I&I workflow and manage projects
Develop key performance indicators that align with the organization's strategic goals and priorities
Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining or improving resource efficiency
Write, edit, and review SOPs and best practices for better understanding of company policies and business rules
Manage and communicate current schedules, personnel requirements, and communications in daily meetings with Current Operations to ensure field personnel needs are met
Create and manage budgets for the section
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree, undergraduate degree, or equivalent work experience in watch floor, Multi-Agency Coordination Center, Command Center, resource management, emergency services, or similar industry experience working in a high-stakes, time-critical environment
Minimum of 2-years of experience in leadership roles and personnel management
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to foster people's strengths, develop skill sets within a group, grow staff professionalism, and build a high-performance team
Technical and anticipatory abilities relating to the I&I processes involving complex decision making, problem solving/analysis, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
Exceptional attention to detail for all tasks and deliverables
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills including multi-tasking, prioritization, and time management
Ability to be alert, stay calm, think clearly, and act decisively
Ability to inspire others and motivate teams of employees
Ability to think and plan strategically to create effective goals and objectives
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift 15-lbs
Preferred
Recent experience and/or a minimum of 2-years working in the Information and Intelligence section, a Multi-Agency Coordination Center, or Command Center
Emergency services, law enforcement, military, or similar industry experience working under time compression with high consequences for failure
Continuous improvement and/or process engineering experience
