Responsibilities
Perform advanced actuarial modeling for pricing, valuation, and risk management
Evaluate regulatory requirements and support compliance improvements
Run models, prepare technical reports, and present insights to leadership
Recommend model enhancements and support continuous improvement
Lead or support cross-functional actuarial projects with minimal oversight
Develop exhibits and analyses that clearly communicate key findings to stakeholders
Proactively identify business issues and recommend effective solutions
Support pricing adequacy, competitiveness, and profitability goals
Assess assumptions impacting products, including reserves, margins, and cash values
Serve as a subject‑matter resource for complex or escalated issues
Ensure risk and compliance standards are consistently met
Qualification
Required
FSA + 4 years relevant experience
ASA + 8 years relevant actuarial experience
FSA + 8 years relevant actuarial/analytical experience
ASA + 12 years relevant actuarial/analytical experience
Experience with actuarial modeling for pricing/valuation/risk
Ability to communicate complex findings to technical & non‑technical audiences
Preferred
Military experience or spouse/partner of a service member
FSA designation
Experience with Moody's AXIS
2+ years of ALM or cash flow testing
Experience with Life & Annuity products
Fixed Indexed Annuity (FIA) background
