$21/hr - $25/hrHendrickson is seeking an Engineering Intern to support the design, test, evaluation, and manufacture of bumpers. The intern will participate in hands-on product development, assist with CAD design, and work on process improvement initiatives within the engineering team.

Responsibilities
Participates in hands-on product development and CAD Design
Analyze CAD data to update ERP system
Assists with addressing manufacturing change requests
Works as a member of the product design and/or manufacturing engineering team
Assists with production process improvement initiatives
Perform other tasks and projects as assigned
Assists with process timings and optimization
Assists with process development
Qualification
Required
Enrolled student working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; experience with project management
Strong PC Skills (spreadsheets, database management, word processing) a must and proficiency in Unigraphics a plus
Ability to handle multiple assignments and complete tasks within demanding time frames with minimal supervision
Strong numeric and analytical skills
Self-motivated with good project management, organization and planning skills
Frequent sitting and working at computer for extended periods of time
Occasional standing and walking on concrete
Occasional climbing stairs and fixed/vertical ladders
Ability to lift and carry up to 60lbs
Ability to push/pull carts (minimal 25lbs) and parts (minimal 60lbs)
Exposure to manufacturing setting
