The Engineering Supervisor will support the engineering management by providing technical assistance, overseeing maintenance tasks, and ensuring guest satisfaction through prompt resolution of maintenance issues.

Responsibilities
Assist engineering management with preventative maintenance, repairs, scheduling and the assignment of projects and other related tasks
Assist engineering management with the procurement of supplies
Ensure CARE and PRP assignments are properly completed, inspect rooms after work is completed
Manage Synergy application daily, update as needed
Review work orders and assign work by priorities
Maintain inventories of all maintenance supplies
Respond to guest and client requests
Work with the Engineering staff and coordinate their activities
Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and emergency evacuation
Must be familiar with Omni's systems and procedures
Must be familiar with BMS, lighting system and fire panel operation
Must be able to test emergency generator and fire pump
Qualification
Required
CPO certification
Must have technical knowledge of various hand and power tools
Must be willing to work based on business and occupancy levels
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
Must be able to interact and communicate with the hotel guests
Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, kitchen equipment and Swimming Pool knowledge
Move, bend, lift, carry, crawl, squat, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
Stand, walk or sit for an extended period or for an entire work shift
Must work indoors and outdoors including during extreme weather conditions
May be asked to be part of 'ride-out' crew during severe weather events
Must be able to work at heights, using ladders, scissors, and aerial lifts
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally
Preferred
5+ years of experience within an upscale or convention hotel
Prior leadership experience with a team of 5 or more
