New Grad, Entry LevelSouthwest Shipyard is seeking a temporary, part-time AR/Data Check Clerk to support their Finance team for 3-4 months. This role is responsible for reviewing and reconciling Accounts Receivable invoices to ensure accuracy, prevent billing errors, and maintain data integrity before and after customer statements are issued.

Responsibilities
Review invoices for accuracy, including customer information, line items, and totals
Reconcile multi-line invoices to confirm calculations are correct
Cross-check invoices against supporting documentation and billing communications
Identify discrepancies and notify Accounting for correction
Assist with clearing AR backlog
Follow established AR checklists and quality-control procedures
Qualification
Required
Strong Excel skills (sorting, filtering, formulas, reconciliation, split-screen review)
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Highly organized and process-oriented
Comfortable identifying and clearly communicating discrepancies
