Responsibilities
Install, configure, and administer SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya 3.5 environments
Perform PostgreSQL upgrades and manage database-related activities
Handle license renewals, hotfix application, and system patching
Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs using SAS Data Integration Studio
Manage job scheduling and resolve job failures
Implement and manage ACL (Access Control Lists) in SAS Viya
Perform SAS services start/stop procedures for 9.4 and Viya environments
Update and maintain RHEL packages and ensure system stability
Troubleshoot environment and application-level issues
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution
Work in an Agile methodology environment
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience in SAS 9.4 Platform Administration
Strong experience in SAS Viya 3.5 Administration
Experience with PostgreSQL upgrades and management
Good knowledge of Linux (RHEL) administration
Experience in applying hotfixes and license renewals
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
