Web Software Developer
The University of Texas at Arlington is seeking a Web Software Developer who will maintain and update web-based applications, databases, and servers for existing web-based software. The role involves writing advanced web authoring code, designing or integrating graphics and databases, and staying current with the latest hardware and software for site maintenance.

Responsibilities
Work with Director to create and manage custom developed web-based tools
Maintain and troubleshoot existing for several websites and web-based systems
Performs maintenance on web-based tools and databases as required
Participate in the change management, problem management and other IT related processes
Performs upgrades on equipment and software packages
Troubleshoots, debugs, and implements software code
Contact and work with administrators, other team members, and external clients as required
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in field relating to Computer Science
Three (3) years of practical work experience in computer-related field
Three (3) years hands-on experience working in web-based software environment or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience in similar role
Must be adept in Microsoft Office products
Proficient in HTML, CSS, and Web Accessibility with working knowledge of relational databases
Preferred
IT certification and UT Arlington experience
Good communication skills
