Analyst/Sr Analyst, Labor Relations
American Airlines is a leading airline company that offers travel opportunities and career growth. They are seeking a Senior Analyst/Sr Analyst in Labor Relations to support the Labor Relations team by analyzing data, assisting in negotiation preparations, and ensuring contract compliance.

Responsibilities
Support the Labor Relations team within the Legal department, specifically in the areas of bargaining and grievance management
Gather and analyze data to support bargaining and grievance management efforts
Assist in the preparation of negotiation materials, including data analysis and visualization
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the represented workgroup contracts and how they affect the operational groups
Support the development of business cases and presentations to drive business outcomes
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contract compliance and business strategies
Assist in the management of grievance and arbitration processes
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key labor relations metrics
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. business, economics, industrial relations)
2-3 years of experience in operational strategy or analytical roles
Experience working with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, PowerBI)
Data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, PowerBI)
Data automation tools (e.g. Power Automate)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Preferred
Experience in labor relations or a related field
Knowledge of collective bargaining agreements and labor laws
Experience with data automation tools (e.g. Power Automate)
Certification in labor relations or a related field (e.g. SHRM-CP, PHR)
