Program Manager

Responsibilities
Manage the task order to ensure the SOW is executed according to objectives
Plan and develop methods and procedures for implementing work
Direct and coordinate tasks and oversee personnel responsible for SOW execution
Select personnel based on knowledge and experience
Communicate task order responsibilities to employees and monitor performance
Review activity reports and records to ensure progress toward objectives
Adjust methodology as needed to redirect activities and achieve objectives
Prepare program reports
Control expenditures to stay within budget allocations
Bid and proposal support if requested
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Communications, or a related technical discipline is required
At least five (5) years of experience as a Program Manager (PM) OR 10+ years of directly related training and/or experience required
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or other project management certificate in Project Management or Lean Principles required
Must possess technical program related experience in a government contracting environment working with cost-type contracts
Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated problem-solving skills
Must possess strong time management skills
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
