Responsibilities
Support day-to-day security operations and assist in monitoring facilities to ensure safety and compliance
Assist in the coordination and implementation of security policies, procedures, and programs
Conduct risk assessments and help identify potential security threats
Collaborate on strategies to mitigate risks and improve security measures
Collect, analyze, and report data related to incidents, breaches, or other security-related events
Maintain and update security logs and records
Assist in organizing and delivering security training sessions for employees
Develop awareness materials and presentations to promote a security-conscious culture
Support internal and external security audits to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Help ensure adherence to data protection and privacy guidelines
Assist in monitoring security systems (e.g., CCTV, access control) and recommend improvements
Provide support for implementing new security technologies and tools
Work closely with various departments to address security-related concerns and develop tailored solutions
Support crisis management planning and response initiatives
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Proactive approach to identifying and solving security challenges
Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
Preferred
Familiarity with security systems, procedures, and best practices is a plus
