Responsibilities
Lead and deliver cybersecurity related projects from initiation through transition to operations
Plan, direct, coordinate and deliver project activities through the entire project life cycle
Manage established budget and lead project objectives and completion on time, on budget, and in conformance to Mayo Clinic project management methodologies and standards
Independently lead problem-solving and decision-making activities within the scope of the project and change management process
Guide teams on Agile practices and values to implement critical projects
Assess maturity of the team and organization and coach the team to higher levels of maturity
Remove impediments and blockers or guide the team to do so; escalate to management when appropriate
Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised and resolved
Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
Support and educate the Product Owner, especially on creating the product backlog and ongoing backlog refinement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with 10 years' experience in Project Management and business related activities or Master's degree with 7 years' experience in Project Management
Active (unexpired) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required
Candidates should also include any certifications they have, which do not supersede the PMP certification, which may include but are not necessarily limited to Certified Product Management, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, Risk Management Professional (RMP) and/or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
Preferred
Demonstrated experience delivering technical projects, ideally with hands on exposure to cybersecurity solutions, platforms, or security control implementation
Strong working knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat awareness, and compliance-driven environments
Proven ability to manage complex, multi layered projects with high risk, interdependencies, and enterprise level impact
Expertise in risk management, decision making, and navigating cross functional technical teams
Experience working within Hybrid project management and Agile methodologies (Scrum Master or similar coaching experience preferred)
Strong communication, leadership, and change management capabilities
Experience in large enterprise or regulated environments, preferably healthcare
Background working with vendors, auditors, and third party partners
