Responsibilities
Support the development and maintenance of cloud deployment and infrastructure solutions under the guidance of senior engineers
Assist with implementing updates and improvements to cloud environments while following established best practices
Help ensure platform reliability and scalability by working with cloud services and container technologies
Write and maintain clean, well-documented code using languages such as Java or Go
Participate in testing, automation, and deployment activities to help ensure quality and stability
Collaborate with teammates to troubleshoot issues and learn how to resolve production and non-production incidents
Learn and apply cloud-native and DevOps concepts through hands-on work and mentorship
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
Internship, co-op, academic project, or entry-level experience working with software development or cloud technologies
Basic familiarity with one or more programming languages such as Java, Go, or Python
Exposure to relational databases and SQL concepts
Introductory knowledge of containers (Docker) and an interest in Kubernetes or cloud platforms
An early-career software or cloud engineer eager to learn and grow in cloud databases
Comfortable working in a team environment and open to feedback and coaching
Curious, proactive, and motivated to build foundational skills in cloud technologies
Able to communicate clearly and ask questions when learning something new
Interested in cloud databases, infrastructure, DevOps practices, and modern software delivery
Organized, dependable, and able to manage tasks with guidance and support
Preferred
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic CI/CD concepts is a plus
Willingness to learn tools such as Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud services through on-the-job training
