Responsibilities
Complete a mechanical design project from concept through implementation
Use 3D printers and shop equipment to fabricate custom tooling to support plant production needs
Shadow and support the plant manufacturing engineer
Work schedule: Mon-Fri in person
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled rising junior or senior students majoring in: Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, Automation, or related Engineering disciplines
Proficiency in CAD
Enjoy hands on‑on tasks and problem solving
Intermediate Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
Positive attitude with demonstrated work ethic and detail-orientation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to work on a team
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Preferred
Prior internship or job in a manufacturing facility
Knowledge and general understanding of industrial manufacturing and fabrication equipment, including but not limited to saws, mills, punches, CNC fab equipment, etc
FDM 3D printing experience
CNC machining experience
