Senior Associate, Security
Invenergy drives innovation in energy, providing power generation and storage solutions globally. The Senior Associate, Security is responsible for implementing electronic security systems and conducting security audits, while supporting daily operations and developing Travel Security Briefings for employees.

Responsibilities
Provide guidance to facilities on the selection, implementation, and operation of physical security systems and measures
Liaise with construction, facilities, and IT project managers to ensure security requirements are integrated into project planning, design, execution, and commissioning
Support the review, development, and revision of security governance documents, including standards, procedures, and guidelines
Assist with security investigations and related fact‑finding activities
Contributes to the development, implementation, and enhancement of tools, processes, and technologies that support the security function
Deliver security briefings on topics affecting the safety of employees, facilities, and company assets
Measure, evaluate, and continuously improve the effectiveness of security programs and processes
Develop, track, and maintain metrics that quantify the performance and productivity of the security team
Support the collection and dissemination of security lessons learned and best practices to drive improvement
Assist with the design, testing, and implementation of business continuity and recovery solutions for critical operations, and support response efforts during incidents
Perform other duties as required to support organizational goals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, administration, criminal justice, political science, security management or relevant field
Minimum five years of security experience (corporate, public, private, or military), including three years in a leadership role
Strong ability to work independently or collaboratively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Knowledge of relevant local and international laws, regulations, and industry standards
Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and time‑management skills
Ability to build effective relationships with industry peers, regulatory bodies, and law enforcement
Ability to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally
Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred
Working knowledge of regulatory standards such as NERC‑CIP and ISPS/MTSA (preferred)
CPP, PSP, or equivalent certification
Spanish and/or Portuguese fluency (preferred)
