They are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to assist in creating and revising engineering drawings, developing 3D models, and gaining hands-on exposure in a production environment.

Responsibilities
Create and revise 2D engineering drawings using CAD software
Develop 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks
Design and detail small mechanical components for industrial machinery
Generate and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs)
Gain hands-on exposure in a production/manufacturing environment
Collect, analyze, and report engineering data
Create technical reports, charts, and graphs using Microsoft Excel
Work with large data sets, organizing information into clear, presentable formats
Assist Controls Engineers during machine build, testing, and start-up
Take and interpret measurements using multimeters, pressure gauges, and load cells
Support component selection activities for mechanical and electrical systems
Research and evaluate components for design incorporation
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes and technical specifications
Read and interpret vendor quotes and customer specification documents
Participate in customer and internal engineering calls to understand requirements and design impact
Attend project meetings and present updates on assigned tasks and deliverables
Qualification
Required
You are currently enrolled in an engineering program at an accredited college or university
You have completed 2+ years (Junior or Senior) at an accredited college or university
You are in good academic standing
