Telecommunications Engineer
Widelity, Inc. is a U.S. founded communications company specializing in telecommunications and wireless solutions. The Telecommunications Engineer will manage projects, define optimal solutions, assist in contract capture, and ensure successful project delivery across various divisions.

Responsibilities
Work with Widelity management and stakeholders to develop detailed project scope for execution of Widelity projects
Document scope and work with Widelity project stakeholders to develop preliminary cost estimate documentation
Review project scope of work
Participate in critical review of project analysis of viability
Review proposals and update system documentation appropriately
Participate in proposals for projects of various scopes and sizes
Plan, write, and format Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and Requests for Quote (RFQ)
Coordinate sub-contractor meetings with project stakeholders
Meet with contractors and clients to evaluate project needs and requirements
Manage and participate in project kick-off meetings with all project stakeholders
Utilize software tools to maintain project status is properly tracked and managed
Coordinate and hold project meetings to provide project status, coordination of schedules, and deliverables
Develop and submit project reports to senior management
Coordinate meetings and reports between Widelity clients, contractors, subcontractors, and other project support services
Facilitate Lesson’s Learned meetings with all key stakeholders upon project completion; notate information within appropriate databases
Schedule tracking and/or project administration of government agencies’ feasibility studies, technical assistance, and analyses that move infrastructure projects from concept to financing and implementation
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in 5G technologies, FPGA development tools, and SDR platforms, continuously improving our systems and processes
Manage up to 3-4 projects concurrently
Qualification
Required
minimum 3 years' experience in design and implementation
minimum 2 years' experience in telecom bid and proposal
minimum 2 years' experience in telecom project management
Unwavering commitment to asset protection and cybersecurity
Strong and effective communication skills to include writing technical documents, presenting to stakeholders including senior level management and clients
Experience working with US government agencies a plus
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in technical Engineering background or related field (electrical, mechanical, telecommunications, etc.)
3 years minimum experience in telecommunications engineering field
Project management experience
Knowledge of the necessary processes and procedures to develop and manage a variety of proposals, and other telecommunications related projects
