Project Management Intern
Columbia Forest Products is seeking a Project Management Intern to support their Project Management Office. The intern will assist in project coordination, documentation, reporting, and governance activities, gaining hands-on experience in PMO operations and project lifecycle activities.

Responsibilities
Assist in developing project plans, including scope, milestones, scheduling, and resource tracking
Update project management tools with current task status, risks, and issues
Help draft project documentation such as meeting minutes, project logs, status reports, and action-item lists
Support the scheduling and organization of project meetings
Prepare agendas, document discussion points, and distribute follow‑up notes
Assist in gathering requirements and feedback from stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Identify and log project risks and issues
Support development, tracking, and communication of mitigation plans
Help track dependencies and cross‑project impacts within the IT portfolio
Assist with PMO reporting, portfolio dashboards, and metric tracking
Help ensure alignment with PMO frameworks, governance standards, and documentation best practices
Collaborate with PMO staff to identify process improvements and enhance project delivery tools
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Information Systems, Project Management, Technology Management, or related field
