The Business Development Intern will assist with data management, customer inquiries, market research, and process documentation to support the sales team and contribute to the team's growth and success.

Responsibilities

Assist with data management for PRQs, RFPs, and RFQs

Track RMAs from purchase order to shipment

Develop and maintain email templates for quote inquiries and data requests

Support the transition of sales documents and presentations to updated branding

Conduct market research on competitors and new customer inquiries

Help create or update work instructions for portal features by account

Support sales as a liaison between the Customer Relations Manager and the sales team

Assist in learning and tracking the commercial and defense sales pipelines

Create and maintain dashboards to track revenue, shipments, and projections

Support CRM implementation, including working on phased rollouts and data integration

Create and format presentations, including converting technical data into clear visuals

Assist in analyzing defense program metrics, market trends, and competitive intelligence

Required

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Interest in business analysis, data management, and sales support

Pursuing a bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

High School diploma or GED

Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks, physical, and controlled substance testing
