Responsibilities
Mobile-First Strategy: Contribute to the design strategy for iOS and iPadOS, ensuring our products leverage the latest platform capabilities (haptics, widgets, Live Activities, etc.)
End-to-End Design: Participate in the full design lifecycle - from initial discovery and user research to high-fidelity prototyping and developer handoff
Innovation: "Think outside the box" to solve complex usability challenges. We want someone who challenges the status quo to create "delight" in the user journey
Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers and Engineering leads to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals
Qualification
Required
3 - 5 years of professional experience in UX/Product Design with a mobile-first focus. Exceptional candidates with less experience will absolutely be considered
Strong, demonstrable knowledge of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines. You can point to shipped work where you made specific design decisions (navigation models, controls, typography, motion, spacing) based on HIG and can explain the trade‑offs
A dedicated focus on mobile UI/UX. You understand the nuances of touch targets, thumb zones, gestures, and mobile-specific micro-interactions
A comprehensive portfolio of current and recent work is mandatory. We want to see case studies that demonstrate your process, your 'outside the box' thinking, and the measurable impact of your designs
Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, and advanced prototyping tools (e.g., ProtoPie, Framer)
Preferred
Understanding the technical constraints and possibilities of SwiftUI to better collaborate with iOS engineers
Ability to create custom transitions and animations that enhance the user experience without being distracting
Advanced knowledge of WCAG and Apple's accessibility features (VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, etc.)
