VCR Project Manager I
University of Nebraska Medical Center is seeking a Project Manager I to support the strategic initiatives of the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research. The role involves planning, implementing, and reporting on key project milestones while collaborating with various teams to track outcomes-based metrics throughout the project.

Responsibilities
Support the planning, implementing and reporting on key project and portfolio milestones for assigned projects
Work on projects with the Principal Investigator(s), capability leaders, project teams, and subject matter experts to define, source, and track outcomes-based metrics measured throughout the project
Conduct independent strategic task implementation
Bring together appropriate working groups of internal and external partners to achieve the goals of the program
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
2 years related project management experience
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Word
Microsoft PowerPoint
Microsoft Outlook
Microsoft OneDrive

Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently to achieve departmental goals, deadlines, and desired outcomes/results (E)

Strong interpersonal skills professional relationship Management
Preferred
Master's degree
Business Administration, Healthcare/Nursing Administration, Industrial Engineering, Organizational Development or related field
Experience with preparation of written documents and/or proofreading
Experience with leadership reports
Experience in an academic setting
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute OR Green Belt
