Hosting Enterprise Architect

Responsibilities
Designs and maintains enterprise infrastructure architectures, including virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware) and data center environments
Leads performance analysis, capacity planning, and availability assessments to support business continuity and growth
Maintains a portfolio roadmap aligned with clinical, operational, and IT objectives
Implements infrastructure security best practices and ensures compliance with organizational policies and industry standards in collaboration with Information Security teams
Evaluates emerging technologies and vendor solutions and contributes to long-term infrastructure and modernization roadmaps
Collaborates with network, storage, database, application, and business teams to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions aligned with organizational needs
Develops and maintains architectural diagrams, system documentation, and operational standards
Promotes consistency and operational efficiency across the Enterprise Platforms organization, including leading concept definition, strategy, design, deployment, and ongoing process management
Leads the design and deployment of large-scale systems, including disaster recovery, storage, power, and operating system and software configurations
Serves as a subject matter expert across multiple technical domains, including virtualization, automation, system security, performance optimization, and disaster recovery
Leads technical aspects of infrastructure projects, communicates progress and risks, and coordinates with stakeholders
Maintains system performance metrics, growth projections, and operational reporting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
5 Years of Experience
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Seven or more years of professional IT experience with a strong emphasis on server engineering or infrastructure architecture
Advanced knowledge of Windows, Linux, and AIX operating systems
Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and enterprise storage technologies
Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, or similar)
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
