Responsibilities
Support the secure development lifecycle by integrating security testing and controls into the software development process
Conduct static, dynamic, and interactive security testing on enterprise applications to identify vulnerabilities
Collaborate with development teams to remediate security issues and implement security best practices
Maintain and tune security testing tools and frameworks to ensure effective vulnerability detection
Monitor application security posture through continuous vulnerability management and assessment
Ensure compliance with federal security standards and assist in audits and security assessments
Develop and deliver security training and awareness programs for development teams and stakeholders
Participate in incident response and security investigations related to application vulnerabilities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in application security, secure coding, or related roles
Proficiency with application security testing tools such as SAST, DAST, and IAST
Strong understanding of security frameworks, standards, and compliance requirements relevant to federal environments (e.g., NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP)
Experience with vulnerability management, remediation, and security incident response
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or GIAC certifications
