Responsibilities
Design, implement, and automate processes to manipulate, analyze, and model structured and unstructured data
Research, develop, and implement predictive and prescriptive modeling, natural language processing (NLP), robotic process automation (RPA), and other advanced statistical methods
Coordinate research and analysis activities utilizing diverse data sources (structured and unstructured)
Collaborate with Data Engineers to create robust data environments and enable comprehensive analytics
Perform large-scale data processing using tools like Apache Spark or Hadoop
Build and refine statistical models, and create data visualizations using tools like Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, or R Shiny
Conduct programming using R, Python (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas), or similar analytical programming languages
Develop and implement machine learning and data engineering solutions using cloud-based platforms such as Databricks, IBM Cloud Pak, Cloudera, or Snowflake
Communicate complex data-driven insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders through digital storytelling

Required
Interim Secret clearance
Top Secret/SCI clearance eligibility
1 + years of related experience
US Citizenship
Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R, Java, C++)
Experience with distributed SQL programming and relational/non-relational database queries
Hands-on experience in applying data science methods and machine learning techniques to real-world problems
Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, or R Shiny
Familiarity with advanced data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Hadoop
Experience with cloud-based data management and ML platforms like Databricks, IBM Cloud Pak, or Snowflake
Background in mathematical modeling, statistics, and advanced analytics
Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences through presentations or visual media
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field such as Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Computer Science
Preferred
Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Master's degree in a STEM field
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialist, Certified Analytics Professional (CAP))
