Responsibilities
Analyze customer needs and develop overall design objectives
Develop software across various programming languages and IT applications
Ensure solutions account for current and future architecture requirements
Debug and correct software issues
Collaborate with teams while also working independently
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or another engineering or technical discipline is required
Ability to obtain VA Medium‐Background Investigation clearance
5-8 years of software development experience
Experience with service‐oriented concepts and enabling technologies
Experience with software development and implementation
Skills in design, development, testing, deployment, and support
Experience debugging and correcting program errors
Experience with Agile methodologies, system architecture, and object‐oriented software design
Experience with Ruby on Rails
Experience with REST and SOAP web services
Experience with JavaScript, React, Redux
Experience with RDBMS (Oracle, SQL, Postgres)
Preferred
Experience leading and mentoring junior developers
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
Experience with Camunda BPM
Experience with Jenkins CI/CD
Experience with AWS technologies
Experience with RSpec and Ruby on Rails libraries
Experience with Git, GitHub, SVN, Mercurial
Experience with React and Redux
Experience with Jest or other frontend test frameworks
Experience with MVC, Mocking, RESTful concepts, ORM

Ability to write clean Ruby code
