Senior Front-end Engineer, WWPS ProServe Data and Machine Learning

Responsibilities
Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure front-end applications on AWS tailored to customer needs, including selecting and configuring appropriate frameworks, libraries, and architectures for specific use cases
Developing and deploying responsive web applications and user interfaces that solve real-world business problems, conducting performance testing and optimizing for speed, accessibility, and user experience at scale
Collaborating with customer stakeholders to identify high-value front-end modernization opportunities, gather requirements, and propose effective strategies for implementing modern web applications and user interface solutions
Providing technical guidance on applying front-end best practices, design systems, and web technologies responsibly and cost-efficiently, troubleshooting throughout project delivery and ensuring adherence to accessibility standards and performance benchmarks
Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on the latest advancements in front-end technologies, emerging frameworks, and innovative approaches to creating engaging user experiences that drive maximum business impact
Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, creating reusable front-end components and design patterns, and working with team members to prototype new technologies and evaluate technical feasibility
Qualification
Required
US Citizen
Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience
5+ years of software development with object oriented language experience
5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
4+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
Preferred
degree in advanced technology, or AWS Professional level certification
Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments
Knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST
Experience in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns
Experience building or integrating generative AI features into applications, such as chatbots, content generation tools, or AI-powered user interfaces
