Technical Trainer II

Responsibilities
Deliver in-person or virtual training; and
Develop, and maintain proficiency in required technical skills including electronics, torque, safety-wire, and solder; and
Follow all internal processes to deliver engaging learning content with a focus on training standards; and
Collaborate with a variety of cross-functional teams to resolve complex and conflicting priorities; and
Manage effective partnerships with customers, peers and senior leaders while performing all tasks related to training delivery; and
Participate in or, lead projects with teams that are responsible for creation, maintenance, or revision of training materials; and
Provide subject matter expertise on solder-related questions to factory personnel
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations or, 5 years equivalent military experience with emphasis on technical instruction, including mil-specs
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
IPC certified instructor in the following: IPC J-STD-001 Standard for Soldering - within 90 days of hire, IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies - within 180 days of hire, IPC/WHMA-A-620 | Wiring Harness Manufacturer's Association - within 180 days of hire, IPC/WHMA-A-620 Space Addendum - within 180 days of hire, IPC 7711/7721 – Rework, Modification, and Repair of Electronic Assemblies - within 12 months of hire
Preferred
Prior experience with solder, electronics, torque, safety wire, or other technical skills
Experience working independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment
Experience teaching technical skills to groups of 6 or more people
Excellent management skills
Prior IPC solder certification
Prior experience working with an LMS
Active DoD clearance
