Responsible for application performance and tuning
Responsible for project execution from conception to finished product
Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages
Support network and database administrators as needed
Maintaining and upgrading in-house programs
Works collaboratively in a team environment

Required

Strong organizational and project management skills
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Proficiency with languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP and/or .Net
Familiarity with database technology such as MS SQL and Oracle
Excellent verbal communication skills
Good problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Physical demands including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, reaching overhead, and bending to floor
Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally
Exerting 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Attendance is an essential job function
Compliance with all recognized standards that Major Tool adheres to (such as AS9100, ISO 9001)

Preferred

Degree in Computer Science
Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS
Gupta/OpenText experience
