Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer III for a Contract with a client in San Diego/Cupertino, CA. The role involves developing scalable data pipelines and processing tools for battery datasets, ensuring high-quality data for algorithm development.

Responsibilities

Develops scalable data pipelines and processing tools to deliver clean, reliable battery datasets for model development
Aggregates and normalizes cell and pack data to support accurate estimation, optimization, and analysis workflows
Ingests and processes large volumes of lab and field test data while performing data quality checks and feature extraction for performance evaluation
Builds labelled datasets, feature stores, and model‑ready data to support machine learning training and algorithm validation efforts
Runs simulation workflows—including scenario generation and parameter sweeps to validate battery models and produce performance projections
Ensures synchronization, validation, and traceability of ground‑truth signals to maintain consistent, high‑quality datasets across research activities

Qualification

Required

Candidate must have a degree in Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
5-7 Years of experience required
Candidate must have strong hands-on experience in MATLAB for battery data analysis, modelling, and algorithm validation activities
Candidate must possess knowledge of battery modelling and control algorithms, with the ability to build scalable datasets and support simulation workflows for performance projections
