Responsibilities
Operating equipment while picking up and delivering recycling carts
Picking up and hauling residential and commercial solid waste throughout Montgomery County
Qualification
Required
Graduation from a standard high school or GED plus one year of experience operating heavy equipment
Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points
Candidate must possess a DOT card or be able to pass a DOT physical
Must demonstrate working knowledge of the essential maintenance checks
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Preferred
Knowledge of Montgomery County
Previous driver/delivery experience
The ability to manipulate bins/carts of various sizes
Experience interacting with the public
Ability to use technology such as GPS phone applications, email and Microsoft Suite programs
