AI Tools Developer & Training Specialist

World Hyundai is focused on building the next generation of AI-powered business tools for dealership operations. The AI Tools Developer & Training Specialist will develop AI-powered tools, train staff on new systems, and provide IT support, ensuring smooth operations and improved customer experiences.
Retail

Responsibilities

Take the owner's concepts and turn them into production-ready web applications
Develop AI-powered tools: calculators, analyzers, training systems, customer-facing applications
Integrate LLM APIs (Claude, GPT, etc.) into practical business solutions
Leverage AI development tools like Claude Code, Lovable, Cowork, and Cursor to accelerate development
Build clean, professional interfaces that non-technical users love
Create tools that improve dealership operations and customer experience
Train sales and service staff at both dealerships on new tools and systems
Create documentation, video tutorials, and training materials
Provide ongoing support when team members have questions or issues
Gather feedback from users to improve tools continuously
Be the bridge between technical capabilities and business operations
Handle technical issues across both dealerships (beyond basic printer problems)
Troubleshoot software, network, and hardware issues
Ensure systems stay running smoothly so the team can focus on customers

Qualification

Required

3-5 years building web applications (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, or similar stack)
Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLM APIs into production applications
Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Lovable, Cursor, Cowork, v0, Bolt, or similar platforms)
Can build full-stack solutions from concept to deployment
Comfortable with databases, APIs, and cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
You ship working software, not just prototypes
You can explain technical concepts to non-technical people
You enjoy training others and seeing them succeed
You're patient but persistent in driving adoption of new tools
You can create clear documentation and training materials
You thrive on variety (building, training, troubleshooting all in one week)
You're resourceful and figure things out when you don't know the answer
You see opportunities to improve processes, not just maintain them
You embrace AI as a productivity multiplier, not a replacement for thinking
You want to build something innovative in an unexpected industry
Local candidates only. You must be able to work full-time on-site at our Illinois dealerships

Preferred

Experience in automotive retail, dealership operations, or DMS systems
Background in instructional design or adult learning
Previous experience at an early-stage company or startup
Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in product development
Active user of emerging AI development tools and workflows
