Responsibilities
Manages participant onboarding, consent explanation, and session guidance to ensure comfort and proper study execution
Sets up, calibrates, and operates custom audio recording hardware and wearable devices for high‑quality acoustic data collection
Monitors live recording sessions to maintain data integrity and troubleshoot technical issues in real time
Performs routine maintenance, organization, and troubleshooting of microphones, wearable systems, and other lab equipment
Organizes, labels, and securely stores raw audio data and metadata while maintaining accurate documentation of protocols
Supports lab operations by maintaining a safe, organized environment and contributing to SOP updates and collaborative project needs
Qualification
Required
Must have an associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or scientific field
Candidate will have 1–3 years of experience working in a laboratory or technical research environment
Candidate must demonstrate strong technical aptitude with hands‑on experience operating audio recording hardware, software, and wearable devices
Candidate must possess excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage data, documentation, and participant interaction effectively
