Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements for system integration involving Okta
Analyze existing systems, processes, and workflows to identify opportunities for automation and integration
Design and implement automation solutions using scripting, APIs, and Okta Workflows to improve identity and access management processes
Integrate various enterprise systems with Okta (e.g., HR systems, SaaS platforms, internal tools)
Maintain and support Okta configurations, policies, and lifecycle management tools
Ensure integration solutions meet security, compliance, and performance standards
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system integrations and automation workflows
Develop technical documentation and standard operating procedures
Stay current with industry trends and Okta platform updates to identify areas for improvement
Qualification
Required
Proven experience with scripting languages for automation such as Python, IAC (Infrastructure As Code), PowerShell, Bash etc.)
Experience implementing automation and performing data ETL via API's and scripting and automation tools
Ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of relevant experience in system integration and/or automation development, with a focus on Okta
Preferred
A strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts
Experience with Okta Workflows, SCIM provisioning, or SAML/OIDC integrations
Background in systems engineering, DevOps, or enterprise IT
Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow, Workday, Jira, or similar platforms
