Responsibilities
Design and develop software applications across the full lifecycle, ensuring solutions meet customer needs and functional requirements
Create high‑level architecture designs and select suitable technology stacks, integration patterns, and deployment strategies
Implement and test software components using JCL, COBOL, DB2, and other mainframe technologies to support business processes
Collaborate with product owners, designers, and architects to deliver user‑centric, scalable, and maintainable solutions
Define and execute test strategies, establish coding standards, and ensure adherence to quality and security best practices
Continuously optimize performance, integrate emerging technologies, and improve development efficiency through CI/CD practices
Qualification
Required
Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field
Candidate must have 6 years in IT and 4 years in development, as defined by the client
Having strong proficiency in mainframe technologies including JCL, COBOL, DB2, and related debugging skills
Candidate must have hands‑on experience working with mainframe systems tools such as ISPF, FileManager, CA7, Syncsort, and sFTP
