Responsibilities

Responsible for tracking and reporting on Profit and Loss of the programs
Leads risk and opportunity management for the programs and drive mitigating strategies
Participates in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes, including coordinating preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, operational budgets, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts to ensure legal compliance and to protect the organization’s interests
Develops, maintains and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project/program to internal executive leadership and customers, including but not limited to Program Management Reviews
Implements continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality, specifically utilizing CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence), lean, or six sigma methodology
Identifies and addresses program problems and recommends resolutions to ensure the successful completion of programs Leads program work with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with the customer program objectives
Manages suppliers, when necessary, to support the program
Travel Requirements: 10-20%, includes domestic

Required

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
Experience working with operations, quality, manufacturing, and engineering organizations
Continuous Improvement experience – CORE, Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
