Responsibilities
Edit YouTube videos with a retention-first mindset (pacing, structure, story, tension, payoff)
Cut down long recordings into engaging, tight narratives
Build strong openings and maintain momentum throughout
Use modern YouTube editing techniques (pattern interrupts, purposeful jump cuts, visual reinforcement)
Collaborate with producers/creative leads on story direction
Apply basic motion graphics, sound design, and music to enhance flow, not distract from it
Deliver edits optimized for audience retention, not just aesthetics
Qualification
Required
Edit YouTube videos with a retention-first mindset (pacing, structure, story, tension, payoff)
