Responsibilities
Architect and design the deployment framework for applications, upgrades, and patches across endpoint computers to ensure optimal performance and security
Lead the design and optimization of virtualization environments, including virtual machine (VM) management for efficient resource utilization
Develop and enforce comprehensive computer policies to maintain system integrity, compliance, and best practices
Architect and oversee print server management to ensure reliable and efficient printing services
Design, build, and standardize desktop operating system images to streamline provisioning and reduce deployment time
Define and lead lab testing strategies for software and hardware to ensure compatibility and performance standards
Collaborate with network, server, and security architects and teams to ensure cohesive infrastructure design and incident resolution
Establish comprehensive documentation standards for processes, configurations, and troubleshooting to support operational consistency
Lead change management strategies to maintain stability and control over desktop infrastructure modifications
Architect project implementation plans that minimize impact on daily operations and ensure continuous service availability
Design and oversee deployment of endpoint security systems and software to protect devices from threats and vulnerabilities
Ensure endpoint devices comply with organizational policies and security standards through architectural controls and monitoring
Architect and manage computer objects and policies within Active Directory (AD), Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), or Azure environments

Qualification
Required
Minimum 8 years of experience in desktop and endpoint systems management with a strong background in architecture design and strategic planning
