Select optimal machines
Develop machining process plans for high-complexity parts
Conversational & ISO programming
Read/interpret G-Code & M-Code
First-piece runs & post-processor adjustments
Implement probing cycles
Design and build custom fixtures/workholding
Support complex 5-axis setups
Full machine setup from raw material to finished part
Use process documentation or build-to-print methods
Apply ANSI Y14.5 (1982 & 1994) standards
Verify tolerance stacks & feature relationships
Use:
CMMs
Renishaw probes
Laser scanners
Micrometers & calipers
Document measurement results
Recommend tooling/program/design improvements
Reduce cycle times & improve manufacturability
Non-conforming parts
Tooling & probing systems
Machine adjustments
Qualification
Required
5+ years working with Mazak machines (Mazatrol / Smooth Controls / 5-Axis)
5+ years on Mazak Integrex e-Series / Integrex i-Series multi-tasking machines
5+ years setting up, programming, and operating 5-axis milling & turning cycles
Experience optimizing toolpaths for surface finish & cycle time
2+ years configuring and running Renishaw touch trigger & laser probing cycles
Experience analyzing probe data for part loading validation
Experience analyzing probe data for offset adjustments
Experience analyzing probe data for part configuration verification
