Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders and fellow developers to identify, analyze, and define complex business requirements
Manage project releases through deployment, adhering to SDLC best practices and ensuring smooth transitions in controlled environments, reporting on team milestones and deliverables
Develop strategic software solutions and platforms to enhance business processes and workflows, leveraging Java and Spring Boot to build scalable RESTful services
Create comprehensive technical and user documentation and provide training to end-users
Offer expert business guidance on system-related issues and facilitate effective communication with impacted parties
Participate in and/or lead design and code reviews, ensuring adherence to existing standards and architectural guidelines
Quickly learn and understand complex business domains to guide end-users towards optimal solutions
Adhere strictly to the firms standard security norms and development best practices
Ability to operate in a dynamic team environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to high demands and challenges
Qualification
Required
Graduate/Postgraduate or equivalent degree in Computer Science with excellent GPA
Minimum 3 yrs of work experience in the required/preferred technologies required for the role
Strong analytical ability and creative thought process to deliver impromptu and innovative solutions for business challenges
Excellent communication and coordination skills, essential for driving cross-divisional projects involving multiple teams and external parties
Extensive experience with Java and Spring Boot for backend development, including the design and implementation of robust RESTful services
Proven exposure to frontend development (e.g., React) and a solid understanding of core database concepts (SQL Server, MongoDB)
Demonstrated experience with deploying applications in controlled environments, adhering to strict SDLC processes and best practices
Preferred
Experience with AI and Data Analytics will be an added advantage in the selection process
