Responsibilities
Manage and grow a back-to-back marine fuels trading portfolio across North America and international markets
Promote and leverage the firm’s physical supply locations in strategic ports
Trade products including Fuel Oil, Gas Oil (MGO), LSFO and alternative marine fuels
Service shipowners, operators, charterers and trading houses across tanker, dry bulk and commercial fleets
Respond to enquiries and execute trades efficiently across spot and term business
Collaborate with the Head of Trading to identify new markets and growth opportunities
Monitor global bunker pricing, port dynamics and supply trends to optimise trading decisions
Utilise pricing, hedging and risk management tools to support margin protection
Qualification
Required
3+ years' experience in back-to-back bunker or marine fuel trading within North America
Established network of shipowners, operators and bunker suppliers
Proven track record building and managing a profitable trading book
Strong understanding of North American bunkering regulations and port policies
Familiarity with hedging tools and marine fuel pricing mechanisms
Commercially driven mindset with disciplined execution capability
Based in Houston or open to relocation within the US
