Responsibilities
Install, maintain, test, and repair relays
Input parameters for relays and troubleshoot issues effectively
Possess experience in installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing motor controls
Read and fully understand protection and control schematic diagrams and wiring diagrams
Identify and rectify mistakes and problems in drawings and designs by comparing them with accepted engineering and customer standards
Utilize manufacturers' literature to facilitate testing processes
Install, maintain, test, and repair circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, and similar equipment
Maintain accurate records, including test results, drawings, and maintenance documentation for associated equipment and devices
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years of experience working with power management relays
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Relay Technician
Proficient in reading and interpreting protection and control schematic diagrams and wiring diagrams
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and address issues promptly
In-depth knowledge of power management relays and motor controls
Familiarity with circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, and related equipment
Ability to catch mistakes and problems in drawings and designs
Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach overhead
Lift 75 pounds
Constantly moving on your feet for 8+ hours per day
Climb ladders (all types)
Completing overhead work for full day assignments
Must be able to make transition from employee parking area into construction work areas and to gain access to all levels of the building
Possess good vision (normal or corrected)
Positively identify colors of wires
Position requires extended hours, which will vary depending on job and site requirements
May need to work weekends if business needs require
Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function
