Responsibilities

Administer and maintain ServiceNow ITOM , with a strong focus on:

Discovery

MID Server deployment, tuning, and upgrades

Event Management configuration and optimization

Partner with network, server, and application teams to ensure accurate service mapping and infrastructure visibility

Monitor and optimize MID Server performance and availability

Configure and tune Event Management rules, alert correlation, and dashboards

Troubleshoot platform issues including performance concerns and integration errors

Maintain documentation for configurations, updates, and processes

Stay current with ServiceNow releases and ITOM best practices

Recommend improvements and drive automation initiatives

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

3+ years of experience in ServiceNow administration or technical infrastructure/operations support

Strong understanding of IT infrastructure concepts (servers, databases, networking, firewalls, load balancers, etc.)

Experience with CMDB concepts and configuration item (CI) relationships

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Experience working in Agile environments

Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical teams

ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS-Discovery)

Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery

Hands-on experience with Event Management

Hands-on experience with MID Server administration

Exposure to JavaScript and workflow/automation development in ServiceNow

Preferred

ITIL v3.2011 or ITIL 4 Foundation certification
