CREW Carbon is seeking a Part-Time Lab Technician Intern to assist with lab operations, sample processing, and data organization, focusing on carbon dioxide removal and wastewater treatment.

Responsibilities

Receive and process aqueous samples collected from partner wastewater sites

Prepare and label samples, reagents, and standards for analytical instrumentation and data collection

Conduct acid washing and cleaning of labware to maintain lab standards

Maintain sample and consumable inventory in the lab

Support data collection, export, and organization from ongoing deployments, with a focus on alkalinity measurements

Qualification

Wet chemistry techniquesAnalytical instrumentationData organizationExcelGoogle SheetsPythonOrganizational skillsAttention to detail

Required

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in sample handling and data documentation

Preferred

Experience with wet chemistry techniques and general lab practices

Familiarity with analytical instrumentation and lab equipment (e.g., titrators, pH meters, balances, pipettes, etc.)

Basic understanding of data reduction and organization in Excel or Google Sheets

Preference for candidates with experience in Python or an interest in basic data scripting
